You can manage the subscription for your Studio in the Billing tab. From here, you can add or reduce seats, change the Billing Owner, and cancel, reactivate, or renew your subscription. You can also view the history of invoices and receipts for all transactions you have made.

Upgrading from Trial
If you are currently on a Trial account, you can start a subscription.
- From Studio Admin, go to the Billing tab
- Click the NEW SUBSCRIPTION button
- Select Annual or Monthly access
*Note: This is for the Essentials package; if you would prefer Facilitator Pro, see the Pricing Page for more details. - Enter the desired number of seats for your Studio
*This is the number of individual licenses that can be assigned at any one time - If you have a promo code, apply it here and click the APPLY button
- Review your order details
- When satisfied, click the NEXT button
- Confirm your purchase details
- Add your billing information
- If needed, tick the Purchasing as a business? box and add the additional details
*This is optional - Enter your credit card details
- Click the CONFIRM & PAY button
- Once your payment is processed, you will be brought to a confirmation screen. Click the GO TO HOME button to go to My Home.
Subscription Details
The Subscription Details section summarizes the details of your subscription and allows you to adjust the number of available seats.
*Only one Billing Admin at a time can change the number of seats. (Jump to: Changing the Billing Owner)
- Subscription: Displays the type of subscription for your Studio
- Status: Indicates whether your subscription is Active or requires attention
- Current Seats: Displays the total number of seats assigned to your Studio and how many are currently allocated (Jump to Change Number of Seats)
- Renewal Summary: Details the number of seats, the cost and the date of renewal for your next billing cycle
Change Number of Seats
You can increase or decrease the number of seats available in your Studio. Increasing the number of seats will take effect immediately and you will be billed for the prorated amount at your renewal date. Decreasing the number of seats will take effect beginning on your renewal date. A record of any changes will be viewable from your Billing History.

- Click CHANGE NUMBER OF SEATS
* A window will pop up - Increase the number of seats you want now, or decrease the number of seats for the next billing cycle
- Review the summary of pending changes
- When satisfied, click the CONFIRM ORDER button
Billing Entity
The Billing Entity section displays the name and email of the Billing Owner. From here, you can request or assign Billing ownership.
* The Action Buttons will vary, depending on whether you are the Billing Owner
- Name: The name of the Billing Owner
- Email: The email associated with the Billing Owner
Assign Billing Ownership
If you are the Billing Owner, you can choose to assign the billing ownership to another Studio Admin with the Billing permission.
- Click ASSIGN BILLING OWNERSHIP
* A window will pop up - Select the Member to whom you want to transfer ownership
*The only available options are those members of your Studio with the Billing permission - Add an optional message (this will be included in the email request)
- Tick the box to confirm
- Click the SUBMIT REQUEST button
- The recipient will receive an email. The recipient clicks the Accept Ownership button
*Ownership is not transferred until the requestee accepts the invitation and submits a valid form of payment - Click to expand and view the current subscription details
- Add credit card details
- If needed, tick the Purchasing as a business? box and add any required details
- Add credit card details
- When satisfied, click the CONFIRM CHANGE button
Request Billing Ownership
If you have Billing permissions but are not the Billing Owner, you can request ownership.
- Click the REQUEST BILLING OWNERSHIP button
- Tick the box to confirm
- Click the SUBMIT REQUEST button
- The Billing Owner will receive an email and click the Approve Request button
*Ownership is not transferred until the requestee submits a valid form of payment - Click to expand and view the current subscription details
- Tick the box to consent to the transfer of ownership
- Add a message (optional)
- Click the APPROVE REQUEST button
- Click to expand and view the current subscription details
- Add credit card details
- If needed, tick the Purchasing as a business? box and add any required details
- Add credit card details
- When satisfied, click the CONFIRM CHANGE button
Payment Details
The Payment Details section displays the details of the payment method currently associated with this Studio's subscription. From here you can change the payment card and cancel, reactivate or renew your subscription.
* The Action Buttons will vary, depending on the current Status of your Studio and whether you are the Billing Owner.

Change Payment Card
The Billing Owner can update or replace the current payment card.
- Click the CHANGE PAYMENT CARD button
- Expand section to review subscription details
- Add credit card payment details
- Click the UPDATE PAYMENT CARD button
- Once payment is successfully processed, you will be directed to a confirmation page. Click the GO TO MY BILLING button to go to your Billing page.
- You will be directed to the My Billing page. From here you can click the Studio name to return to Studio Admin
- Click the Actions menu to view your Billing History
- Click to open your Avatar menu to navigate to another area of Sprintbase
Cancel Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time. You will continue to have full access for any time remaining of the current billing cycle (plus an additional year of read-only access).
- Click the CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION button
- Click the CONFIRM button
Reactivate Subscription
Any canceled subscription may be reactivated while still within the last billing cycle.
- Click the REACTIVATE SUBSCRIPTION button
- Click the CONFIRM button
Renew Subscription
If your subscription has ended, you will continue to have read-only access for an additional year and may also renew your subscription at any time. Renewed accounts will contain all Members and all Open Workspaces, Sprints and Boards.

This will take you to the Subscription page.
- Select an Annual or Monthly plan
- Select the number of seats
- Review your purchase summary
- Click the NEXT button
- Review the details of your pending purchase
- Add billing name & address
- If purchasing as a business, tick the Purchasing as a business? box and add any required details
- Add card number, expiry date, CVC
- Click the CONFIRM & PAY button
- Once payment is successfully processed, you will be directed to a confirmation page. Click the GO TO HOME button to be taken to My Home.
Billing History
The Billing History contains a record of all invoices and receipts accrued by the current Billing Owner. These files are only visible to the Billing Owner.
- Description: Details the number of seats, subscription tier and price for the selected billing cycle (Annual or Monthly)
- Discount: Any promotion that you added to your subscription
- Amount: The charge (USD) for the selected billing cycle (Annual or Monthly)
- Due Date: The upcoming payment date
- Status: Your upcoming billing will be marked Future. Completed billings will be marked Paid. Any issues processing a payment will be noted here (and you will receive an email detailing the issue)
- Receipt & Invoice: View digital copies of the invoice and receipt for each bill in the History

- Click the View... link next to any past bill
- View the amount paid and click the Invoice Details link for additional payment details
- Click to download a copy of the invoice
- Click to download a copy of the receipt
