Custom Templates

You can create custom Template Notes by adding a background image to any Whiteboard NoteAdmins can also add custom Template Notes to the ADD menu of Sprints in their Studio.

Accessible By: Admins, Facilitators, Team Leaders, Team Members

  1. Click the Manage Templates tab.
  2. Click the Template Library sub-tab.
  3. The Template Name field (Required). Fill this out with what you’d like the Custom Template to be named.
  4. The Template Description field (Optional). Fill this out with a short description of the Custom Template.
  5. The Template Background Image field (Required). Click this field to open your operating system’s file picker to select an image to be used for the Custom Template.
  6. Click the Upload button to add the Custom Template to the Studio.

  2. Click the Sprint Templates sub-tab.
  3. The Select Process field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Sprint process to which you would like to add the Template.
  4. The Sprint Step field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Sprint Step to which you would like to add the Template.
  5. The Custom Template field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Custom Template to be added.
  6. The Add Menu Path field (Required). By adding to this field with a comma-separated list of identifiers, you are able to host your Custom Template in a sub-menu of the Add Menu. To host your Custom Template in the top level of the Add Menu, simply leave the default value of Add.

  9. Added Custom Templates can be removed from a Sprint Step’s Add Menu by clicking this icon.
  10. Built-in Templates can be added or removed from a Sprint Step’s Add Menu by checking or unchecking the corresponding checkbox.
  11. Each Step’s Add Menu contents view can be expanded or collapsed by clicking each element.

  2. Click the Whiteboard Templates sub-tab.
  3. The Custom Template field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Custom Template to be added as a standalone Whiteboard in the Studio.
  4. The Add Under a Group? field (Optional). Added Custom Templates can be organized into a Group by entering a Group name in this field. The Group name can be new or that of an existing Group.
  5. Click the Add Whiteboard Template button to add the Custom Template to the Studio’s available Whiteboard Templates.
  6. A list of all of the Whiteboard Templates available to the Studio. If the Template is in a Group, it is formatted as “Group | TemplateName”.
  7. Whiteboard Templates can be enabled or disabled for the Studio to use by checking or unchecking the corresponding checkbox.
