You can create custom Template Notes by adding a background image to any Whiteboard Note. Admins can also add custom Template Notes to the ADD menu of Sprints in their Studio.

- Click the Manage Templates tab.
- Click the Template Library sub-tab.
- The Template Name field (Required). Fill this out with what you’d like the Custom Template to be named.
- The Template Description field (Optional). Fill this out with a short description of the Custom Template.
- The Template Background Image field (Required). Click this field to open your operating system’s file picker to select an image to be used for the Custom Template.
- Click the Upload button to add the Custom Template to the Studio.
- Click the Manage Templates tab.
- Click the Sprint Templates sub-tab.
- The Select Process field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Sprint process to which you would like to add the Template.
- The Sprint Step field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Sprint Step to which you would like to add the Template.
- The Custom Template field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Custom Template to be added.
- The Add Menu Path field (Required). By adding to this field with a comma-separated list of identifiers, you are able to host your Custom Template in a sub-menu of the Add Menu. To host your Custom Template in the top level of the Add Menu, simply leave the default value of Add.

- Added Custom Templates can be removed from a Sprint Step’s Add Menu by clicking this icon.
- Built-in Templates can be added or removed from a Sprint Step’s Add Menu by checking or unchecking the corresponding checkbox.
- Each Step’s Add Menu contents view can be expanded or collapsed by clicking each element.
- Click the Manage Templates tab.
- Click the Whiteboard Templates sub-tab.
- The Custom Template field (Required). From the drop down list, select the Custom Template to be added as a standalone Whiteboard in the Studio.
- The Add Under a Group? field (Optional). Added Custom Templates can be organized into a Group by entering a Group name in this field. The Group name can be new or that of an existing Group.
- Click the Add Whiteboard Template button to add the Custom Template to the Studio’s available Whiteboard Templates.
- A list of all of the Whiteboard Templates available to the Studio. If the Template is in a Group, it is formatted as “Group | TemplateName”.
- Whiteboard Templates can be enabled or disabled for the Studio to use by checking or unchecking the corresponding checkbox.
